I dunno if i came to the right place, but this is creeping me out.
My ATI is sorta going haywire. 4 different errors i think i have gotten, i only remember 2 xD.
It was that i turned on my computer, or tried to access ATI Control Panel through my desktop, and a Command Line error comes up saying that it has to close. Well now that stopped happening, but now i have it saying the monitoring program needs to close.
I dunno if it has anything to do with this, but my computer was really lagging before this all started. I saw another MOM.exe randomly pop up ever now and then. After this time around i dont see MOM.exe at all in my processes (duh) but what is up.
I am rather sure i dont have a virus, because i have run 2 scans (avg and then a sqaured 3.5)
Now...may i ask wtf is with this 0.0

MOM.exe is catalyst I think cause I have that process too. Have you updated your drivers recently?

yeah mom.exe is part of catalsyt. Have you tried to uninstall ccc, then run safe mode and using driver cleaner?

Here you go!
http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=745
Just unistall ccc, ati drivers and all that good stuff. Install driver cleaner. Restart in safe mode F8. Run Driver Cleaner, Select ATI in the tab. Then click Clean (Start) one of two, it's been awhile since i've used it
you need to do windows update its the NET Frameworks I think for it to work

Uninstall all of the earlier drivers, including the CCC, then reinstall. If that doesnt work, go into start>run>msconfig.exe and turn off everything in the startup tab, and everything in services except for windows or microsoft related programs. If it works fine, then you know its another program interfering with your drivers or CCC. At that point you should be able to try and single out what may be the problem. A hardware problem usually invokes a BSOD, so the most like case is software.
