Stepping Up. . .

Currently I own an 8800GTS 512, bought a month ago, through EVGA of course. As we all know EVGA lets you step up. Ive talked with EVGA about the fact that im in IRAQ and cant step up until shortly after, which was fine with them so long as I let them know before I leave that im going to step up.
The reasons I want to step up is:
for just $50 more I can get a 9800GTX, which is a better card of course.
HDMI cable for my 46in 1080p television (ive already got a 24" 1080p)
higher performance gains.

I dont think my step up is going to last until the 9900s come out, so my question is this:
What should I step up to?
I have about 2 months to go before stepping up from today.
The 9800GTX looks appealing, although I could get the GX2 for just $300 dollars more, money isnt much of an issue, Ive got high in the 5 digits from being over here, but ive got more important reasons to spend my money, like my baby & wife back at home.
I probably wont be in time for the 9900s to come out, so im just sitting here in ol' Iraq trying to figure out what would be the best decision for me.

First off - its good to see a soldier in Iraq doing his job, well done it take a lot of balls to do what you guys do.

Second - I would go for the $50 choice.

Reason - your in Iraq i'm sure your baby and wife would love to see you instead of you being couped up in a room playing a game. With the $300 go to disney land or something.

yeah, thats true. Really im happy with the GTS I dont have a lot of time to play games in the first place, but when I do I like it to be smooth. Im mainly worried about the HDMI, so I can watch our blu-ray movies.

It'll be a better investment - the wife will be happy to spend time with you the kid will be happy and all will be happy families!
