You'd see some improvement, not nearly enough to warrant a purchase imo though. Wait a couple of months and something will be around better suited to take your money.:)

you don't need a gfx card upgrade... stick to what you have for now and wait a few months...

If you do plan to upgrade, the 9800GTX is a good upgrade for you from that old 320 GTS, and the GT is about equivelant to the 640mb GTS if you do want to upgrade.

I also have a 320mb 8800gts ,and am looking to upgrade within the nxt 6 weeks or so.
was considering a 9800gtx or possibly a 8800gtx ,the 320mb is pretty decent but lacks memory for the more demanding games.
and this will be my last gfx upgrade for at least a year.

for what it is you don't need to upgrade. It'll only give you what? 10FPS increase over an already vast number with the same quality of picture. Keep with what you have got and speed the money on a car, or a gf, or a new pet etc

Not really enough to warrant of a performance increase to call it as an upgrade. If it was a G92 GTS, then you may second guess it but if you want an upgrade for top of line for your computer.
If you really want to upgrade, look into some additional ram. I am not saying you dont have enough but 4GB is choice for many now.

I rather you go get a eVGA 8800 GT. And btw what cpu speed are you running? It "may" be considered a bottlenecked processor.
