Starcraft key location

do games save the key somewere? anyone i lost everything for starcraft, and its screwed up but i was hoping to at least find my key, any ideas?

pretty sure they do, not precisely where however.

I remember something vaguely about finding in the registry files that it makes. Might be a good place to start looking. I always save my keys in a txt file in the prog folder though. Can't be bothered to hold onto physical pieces of garbage that get lost/broke anyway.

i looked through my W3 folders couldn't find any keys......
