i have a lonely E8400 chip that i am wanting to trade for a Q6600 G0 chip. my E8400 has only been used for about 12 hours total and has been under water the entire time i've owned it. this is a full retail box CPU and i will send you the box and cooler with the cpu. the e8400 ran nicely at 4.32ghz. i didnt try to to push it any further.
TRADE for Q6600 G0 chip or sell for $200.

sell for $200? do you realize that the chip itself sells for $205 right now? I was looking for an e8400, and I think you could get even cheaper on some amazon sales. What is the G0 chip exactly? same as just the Q6600?

there are 2 versions of the q6600. the B3(old, hot, bad OCer) and the G0(new, cooler, lower voltage, OC's really good).
my e8400 is in pristine condition. people who know me know that this chip has been well taken care of. seeing how it was used less then 12 hours, it's worth every dollar. i can even say that it will run 4.32ghz without a problem.

Fit, I may have a Q6600 available, depending on whether a fleabay bidder backs out on their purchase. I'll know tonight. It's a week old.

Hopefully Paulieg's your man. He seems to be the only guy on these forums that's been buying anything lately...

Will that fit in my P5n-e sli board? I have been thinking about getting a faster proc. My q6600 is o/c'ed to 3.0ghz and in on water.
BTW its a GO
