Call Of Duty 4 "Sound Equalizer"

this settings is in the options & even though ive been playing CoD4 since it first was released. what this option actually does has always eluded me.

does anybody know what this option does???


I have an XFi & i play with 5.1 speakers if that helps

C'mon there has to be at least 1 or 2 audiophiles around here that knows what that setting does lol

well it equalizers the sound. lol it equalizers the sound in the surrounded area. It will auto adjust to the best settings, (best sound). It's like equalizers on a stereo system. It adjust the highs and lows.
