8800gs SLI

Anyone have any benchmarks, or experience with any of the 8800gs's in SLI? Wondering how well they scale.

Yea i do, ive ran them for a very short time. Bought two XFX's 8800GS and SLI'ed them on a 780i motherboard with an E8400... well it wasnt anything TOO impressive then again i only used 1280x1024 res but still.. they couldnt pump out what i want in Company of Heroes and CoD4 ran just like it would if i had a single card.

IMHO getting a 9600GT SLI would be better, or a Single 8800GTS 512mb

Well, you see I am actually going to stumble into another one of these cards shortly. So it's not like I am paying for the second card (in cash at least), I am really just looking for see how much better two of the card are than just a single one. Did you test it in SLI and with just a single card?

yea i had it in SLI for a while before i ended up selling it with another computer.

I was wondering if you had tried it out of SLI, you know just one card? I'm wondering performance gains of adding the second card.
