Weird..my Avast doesn't detect mine as a trojan...what version are you running? I think I'm using Utorrent 1.62 iirc.

kaspersky, utorrent 1.7.7 and no issues. this is what you get for using a crap antivirus :)
Probably one of the RIAA's shady attempts to do away with torrenting, heh.

It is also possible the exe file got infected. I had a virus come over the network off a client's computer and infect like 50% of the exe files on my workstation at my repair shop. I had to reload Windows.
Obviously my case was extreme but it can happen.
