Huh wasn't DuOrb a GPU cooler. Well a lot of people have used it for a dual GPU GFX's and none for CPUs'. But what could possibly be a rectangular shape CPU chip?

no idea - im guessing they both have heatpipes running to one block? i cant find any other pictures of it, so we will have to wait and see. abit strange though?

It is indeed a regular CPU cooler, with heatpipes supporting dual 80mm fans. They overhang the socket area, providing additional cooling to surrounding components like mosfets and ram.

Thats the CPU version.
This is the GPU version:

sounds like it could be good, dependant on noise levels / space issues? must be huge! haha. anyone else know anymore about this fan?

Actually, nice spot, English. It looks like an interesting cooler. One I might try in fact.

2 weeks back Frys had that CPU cooler on sale for like $30 or $40 (no rebates). Don't remember. Tempting but know for sure it won't fit my board.

You can buy for example Scythe Mugen and attach four fans on it. Ok probably it will broke your motherboard (>1Kg), but it looks insane. :D

1KG is not a big deal. A thermalright ultra 120 extreme is already 790G and when you attach a fan it will most likely pass 1KG. IF you don't believe then.. :nutkick: nut kick urself!!!!!!1

christ i really didnt think a cpu cooler could weigh that much! must have a good mounting bracket, or else imagine the stress it would exert on your motherboard!

anywho, anyone else found anything more about the 2 fan cpu cooler yet? and i think that the mod guy should do a review asap ;)

Problem with ther Gemini is the size is too large for many people. The DuOrb is smaller so it fits more systems. It cools decent, but I don't know how it compares to a Gemini. I heard the Gemini wasn't worth it unless you got it free after rebate.

Also, it's relatively quiet compared to many of Thermaltake's offerings.

my 5000BE begs to differ @ 1.6v it still isn't hitting 50C and on my 3400+ and only 1 fan it kept under 45C @ 1.8v

now THATS just stupid - thats insane size, and who would buy that? seriously?!?!?! im tempted to create a thread in general nonsense to see who can find the garliest CPU/GPU cooler, but i think we may have a winner there

I got the Coolermaster Gemini with my 832 stacker but with these big clumsy hands of mine I gave it away. That thing is just as big of which you can attach 2 120mm fans on it
