I was going through literally thousands of pics today and stumbled on this mod I did a few years ago with Pentium D805s when they were "the thing"
http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/8572/pict4453qo8.jpg
Stay with me here...I'm putting 4 mATX in a 12" cube.

4 Identical mobos to mount in an aluminum chassis
http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/8645/pict4468ow4.jpg
Only 4 screws per mobo so easy to access...

70CFM Dayton 110VAC Fans

This package inserts into a wood cabinet I built from teak, wenge, ipe and core composite panels of vaccum bagged 3mm okume ply and hexcell core material bonded everything is bonded with epoxy. No fasteners in the cabinet.

This rig lived on the porch Folding 24/7 Summer Fall Winter...
http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/2618/pict5401fr3.jpg
The aluminum chassis lifts out for easy maintenance.
http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1286/teakcaseby1.jpg
This is made from leftovers from a job....freebie.
http://img296.imageshack.us/img296/5576/teakcase3if4.jpg
The light colored material is the 5/8 hexcell material
http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/998/teakcase2gu8.jpg
It's light, weatherproof and (IMO) attractive.

Well Pentium D805 Overclolcked to 3.6 is damn hot. In the house I would park it on top of an AC vent in the floor :D Outside I had to let it do what it could do...I monitored the rigs with RealVNC from inside and of course in the Winter they were running in the mid 20s...I even had a few teens days :) But in the Summer they ran in the 60C range. The air exhausts through the top. It may not be clear in the pics but the top stands off from the box 2"

lol...actually I was Random Much for no apparent reason...
I have rebuilt the unit twice since then> Once with a pair of boards so I could fit GFX cards and third time as a WaterCooled Quad :D
The last iteration was the coolest by far...I'll dig out the pics from my musty archives. Mounted 4 Raptors in a custom cage and ran them on a PCIe controller ^^
