Well, it have been an interesting few days for me. Back on the 20th of April, I went to play tennis. When I got out of the car, I got this SHARP pain around the bladder area and felt like I got kicked in the nuts. I went to the hospital the next day and come to find out, my thought to be dormant Crohn's disease wasn't so dormant after all, so I have spent the last 9 days in the hospital.
I have been poked, prodded, stabbed, made to drink Barium TWICE, CT scanned, Xrayed 10 times, been injected with everything Morphine to Remicade. Overall it has not been a very pleasant week for me.
What has happened in my time away? I see the format changed some.

Yeah, I am ok again. I have some follow up stuff to do and some meds to get on, but it should be under control. Should be no surgery this time and since I responded so well to the treatment, I should do well under the stuff that they give me.

Crohn's disease is an autoimmune disease that affects the entire digestive system, but usually stays in the small intestine. In laymans terms, my immune system is seeing parts of my small intestine as a threat and attacking it. It essentially causes swelling and blockages in the intestine. It currently affects millions of people and has no cure, just control.
