View Full Version : Razer Diamondback problems with mousebindings.

Okay, well, I got a razer diamondback about two months ago. Love the thing, it's amazing. I used the mousebindings to set certain clicks to certain keys, of course. For example, let's say the mouse4 binding is "7". Well, I could open up notepad, and press mouse4 all I wanted to, and it would print the number 7.

We tried to get my roommates model (same model) to do the same thing about a month ago, and his mousebindings simply wouldn't work. Well, yesterday I installed a new hdd (woot woot for another 620 gigs), and reset the bios to defaults, then messed with it from there. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with it, but my mouse no longer does the mousebindings I set in configuring options. Instead, it simply uses the defaults (for example, in WoW the default for mouse6 is run, and instead of using what I set it to do, it will run forward).

Well, the weird thing is, I told my roommate the same thing was happening to me as happened to him, and he said that's funny, because mine works now. So...is there an option somewhere that enables/disables the custom mousebindings?

Thanks TPU,

Yes, you can pick which button does what. Yes, I have picked the correct options to match my goals (ie, assigning mouse4 to "7"). Yes, I have the latest drivers. The problem persists -.- I find it very weird.

Are you loading the customizer thats in the system tray? Thats where all of my settings are for stuff like that.

As far as I know, that's the only way to do it.

So yes, I am.

I use Alt for button 5 ( Teamspeak ). This don't start to work unless i reboot the system. Maybe same thing for you ?..

Now i cannot add the button though pressing it on the mouse i have to press the key on the keyboard.

Razer has crappy drivers, this isn't new. you may want to scour a forum for registry workarounds.

Thank you, at least I know I'm not going crazy. I'll attempt to find some substitute drivers or such.
