As some of you may already know, Samsung has started providing the TCCD chips again due the huge demand. This affects greatly to our XP3200 and XP4400 modules which earlier used TCC5 chips. We have been shipping XP3200 and XP4400 modules for month now with TCCD chips on BrainPower PCB.

I was ordered to do only a paperlaunch as specifications for the modules will remain same. Only thing that changes is the chips we use. They go from TCC5 to TCCD as I stated above. So they should overclock slightly better with lower timings compared to old revision :)

If I understand this correctly.
The XT line of Extreme Performance memory line are TCC5 and TCCD chips.

Another Finnish people here :) And yes, they do overclock quite well. Just need to open a window and give some volts to Redline. Outdoor temp is close to -20 at the moment, close to new year and it goes down to -40 where the life begins

They still goes with the same P/N and we don't have different revisions for the modules. Since chips are covered by heatspreaders there's no sure way to tell, however, Tom told me that almost every XP4400 module out there should be TCCD. What comes to XP3200, there still might be some modules out that are with TCC5 chips but all the kits that has been sent out to resellers in month are TCCD for sure. I'm sorry but we didn't see it would be profit to publish it with different product number since TCC5 is only untested TCCD, nothing else :)

its cheaper, its also TCCD, and i dont see the reason for excitment, if you know where to look, theres enough bargain TCCD around, mushkin isnt bringing anything new to the table,
this is more worthy of a press release then a forum thread, unless you want to publish prices and results

With a support thread here (http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=6083)
Zebbo asked if he could post the thread and more or less states he's here to provide support. I would hope members would treat him as a guest and welcome Zebbo :toast:

We wanted to inform enthusiast that chips are not TCC5 anymore like they used to be. This thread is only here so people would know we switched from TCC5 to TCCD like stated few times before. It's not meant to be anything "new" and "exciting" for the oc-scene. Just a small simple report we changed the chips. I'm sorry if you feel offensive because of this. What comes to the results, I think W1zzard already requested some of this memory to do a review of it. Still this has nothing to do with Geil, this was just a small report like I already stated.
I would hope members would treat him as a guest and welcome Zebbo :toast:
Thank you Urlyin, djbbenn and Polaris :) And we will stick around ;)
