Diff between Flashing BIOS and using ATI TOOL!

Hi all ,
Whats the difference in flashing the BIOS of the VGA card and overclocking using ATI TOOL?

Bios leaves a permament change. Atitool changes reg values for a temporary change. Bios flashes are usually used for mods like unlocking pipes but sometimes changing the cards clocks on the standing bios. But you still need to test the card with Atitool to see if can handle those clocks. Atitool can be set so it loads your overclock on startup or when you use a 3d app, so its pretty much the same as changing the bios default clocks.
