its slow going. tore my loop out of my antec 900 and noticed a few micro cracks in my res. thank god for a local microcenter. thought i would have to buy a TT bay res, but they carry DangerDen in the store. i'm impressed with the selection they had.

break time is over, back to my case assembly.

Yeah it can be kinda frustrating.

make sure you keep all those extra lines from your PSU out of the main area, most cases can loop them to the back or in the drive bay area, and strap everything down

I used to care about CM but I like my rats nests now, especailly the one I have in the antec 900. The Xaser was a non-issue while I didn't even try it for the cosmos. Hell, I don't even put the side cover on my cases. I don't care about dust either :D As long as I get the thing to work, I'm not turning it off for nothing :toast:

loop is in and leak testing/bleeding. omg how nice it is to actually have a water setup completely internal.

i mounted the rad in the ceiling, got a drive bay res, and mounted the pump on top of the hard drive cage.

i did the best i could with the sata cables and floppy cable. bundled them up neatly and zip- tied them down. i coulda prolly cut a few more holes in the modo tray to neaten it up. but i wasn't going to take the chassis completely apart again, cut it, and then hose out all the aluminium shavings and wait on it to dry.

none of my friends are really into pc's, so it doesn't really matter how neatly the wires are. i just don't want the rats nest i had with my antec 900. those cases were not made to be filled. any more than 1hd and 1 optical drive and it became cluttered to the point of killing any decent airflow.

i did however pick up a dangerden maze4 block for my nb while in microcenter earlier. while i had the mobo out earlier i tried to get the stock maximus waterblock off to reseat it with some mx2, but it wouldn't budge. the store had a maze4 with just 1/2 barbs and no mounting hardware for $15 i figured I'd buy it. its got to be better than that stock fusion block asus uses. i remembered reading about someone using circuit freezing spay to freeze the block and it popped off easy. he was right, about 10 seconds of spraying got the block nice and frosty. just a very small tap on the corner of the block and it popped right off.

this is getting too long and I'm tired. if you want to see pics when its done tomorrow i'll post them up to see. gnight all
