anything from 3dmark03 and up will crash during proxycon on my PC if the videocards have any sort of oc on them i ran furbench for 15-20min @ 1280x1024 without issues so the cards are not unstable and the clocks are set in the BIOS along with the fanfix/overvolt
does anyone know why they would crash is there soem patch i'm missing?
funny thing is with xfire off i can run the oc just fine?
 why does xfire have to be so difficult?

do you have the latest 3dmarks and the patch
Hotfix for 3DMark®06/05/03 and PCMark®05 (http://www.futuremark.com/download/hotfix_feb08/)

still crash but this time i watched close and i think i started to overheat on one of the cards so i will try dropping the volts back to stock 1.2x and lowering the core to 740

Are you using any fan control when benching CF? RivaTuner is GREAT for this!
Did you run FurMark in CF?
You are witnessing the problem I have sometimes. My PCI-e 2.0 slot positions are such that with these dual-slot coolers the card in the 1st (main) slot is pulling the hot air from the back of the second card. A fan placed across the top of the two cards or at the end of the cards should help remove that "hot pocket" of air that the first card has to breathe.

both cards are single slot with a 80mm blowing from the outside
furmark was in cf
and as an update @ stock vgpu and 740/1000 i still crash....
will try rivatuner for fan control next!

If the cooling doesn't cut it, you might want to give the NB a bump too!
