So here's the deal; Randomly, I have to click things multiple times for it to close. For example, if I want to close something I have to click it like 5 times.

Help, please.

next time it happens press ctrl+Alt+Del for task manager and see if there is a resource hogging issue. Also, check your mouse settings in the control panel.

Do you actually expect anyone to have ANY clue what you're talking about? What OS? What hardware, what programs? Be a lot more specific.

Windows XP, happens with all programs, even when trying to open a program via an icon, or changing tabs on firefox.

Yes, and different USB ports.
