Hey guys, haven't been on here in a while. have had next to no time at all with a new baby here and only 1 income now..

I am building a couple of PC's next week and thinking about gettin the parts from a mob called umart.

Just wondering what they are like, if anyone has dealt with them before. I did actually ring them yesterday and was surprised to hear them actually answer the phone and talk good english, so my first thoughts are good..........

They are very good afaik, in terms of pricing I wouldn't mind recommending them, they are more reasonable to deal with versus MSY, just give them an email tho for stocks because sometimes they are a bit slow with changing the avaliability.

Wait which UMART? There are two though..

I rang the one in milton, that is head office, they do seem pretty good so I will put an order in with them I think. will let you know how it goes.

From memory I think Josh mentioned umart a while back on here.. might pm him and see what he says...

I never got anything from the one in QLD only the one in Sydney. I used to buy most of my stuff from there. Never had any problems, the one time I had to claim warranty there, they said I could get the brand new one within a week. The only reason I don't buy stuff from them any more is because there is a shop that is a lot closer and cheaper called MSY (although there customer service is crap).

The CPU, RAM, Video Card, Motherboard, LCD and I think hard disk I am using now, all came from Umart.

ITSDirect in Queensland. Pretty competative prices also. Just RMA'd a an ASUS 780i Striker without any problems, upgraded to a 790i and paid the difference. Give em a try.
