SO i sent this rebate from a place that postmarked it on 22nd April . The rebate said to postmark within 14days after purchase , I purchased on 8th april .

The detroit post office didn't send it out until 25th i.e. when they postmarked it . SO now worldwiderebates rejected my rebate. How do i contact them ?

they sent me this pdf file with all the documents i sent them .

here's a screenshot with the postmark that was on the envelope.

try their site.. http://www.worldwiderebates.com/customer/default.aspx# if that doesn't work you may be outta luck.. companies hate giving rebates most of the time and they most likely wont give it to you because of the postmarking etc

do you have any proof that you sent out the letter within 14 days?

even if he did, the contract says it has to be postmarked by the date.. so even if he sent it in by 14 days, they still use postmarking.. which sorta sucks.. i had the same thing happen to me.

Welcome to the land of REBATES... where the companies dont offer cheaper prices, only "price tricks" that they hope, on average, most people wont get. (For whatever reason).

Rebates should be outlawed. Its dont with the intent of not delivering 100%, and its accounting trickery, and it is on large governemnt contracts, it would be termed "kick-backs".

@wolf. That is NOT a postmark.

That is a STAMP from a franking machine (from your office?) that happened to have the WRONG DATE, or, it just FRANKED, but not MAILED with the post office.

It's easy to frank one day, and then not give it to the post office for a month! They will stamp it when it gets to their sorting office.

SORRY, you are out of luck on this one.
