according to specs listed in the links you posted, the black one (ABIT IP35 Pro XE) supports higher fsb (up to 1600) and faster ram (pc2-8500),
the pro also marks one of their pci-e16x as just 4x, while the xe seems to have two pci-e16x at full speed

well, the change in memory and fsb is just nominal, because you could reach that speed without problems with any decent board. It is impossible it has 2 16x-pciex, that chipset only supports 16x+4x what do you think of the look? In my opinion its great!

1 PCI Express x16 ¦ 1 PCI Express x16 ( 4x-Modus )
just as the Original, and rightfully so since the P35 can't do dual 16/16 bandwidth

Black heatsinks and official 1600FSB support, and a price hike.
Is it me or is Abit getting more and more lame? They released 3 Ip35 models original, now there are what? 5-6
IP35
IP35-E
IP35-P
IP35-V
IP35 Pro
IP35 Pro XE
Kinda pathetic really, no?
