Hey, I've been looking at the 7800GT and GTX, well I don't know much about the GT. I know it's 20 pipes and about the same clocks, but that's it. I hear people get it to run easily challenging a stock 7800GTX, and even better with an aftermarket heatsink. But do the extra 4 pipes really come in handy, or the clockrates? Also, is the GT moddable to 24 pipes and a GTX BIOS? That would be sweet. If not though, can it beat a stock GTX with a good heatsink on it? Thank you.

I don't think the extra 4 pipes can be unlocked *as yet* but I am sure a GT OC'ed could get very close to a GTX. Of course, an OC'ed GTX will just pull away again so i guess it depends on your needs/budget?

Extra pipes ensures better image quality, clockrates affect the frame rate that u would get.
