ya those are ok for normal ddr i was able to get crazy tight timings on some old nanya ones i had though...if you add some voltage you can get better i was able to get
2.5-2-2-3

Ah ty, i was kinda curious (and worried ) because one was lower but if you say they are normal then im a happy bunny. :)
oh how do i add voltage ?

your bios might have an option it will aslo prob have an option to lower the timings.

you can make voltage and timing adjustments through your BIOS
welcome to TPU!

too fast for me today solaris!
It's all in the bios. Everything you need to overclock the system is in the bios... voltages, fsb, memory timings... fsb:dram ratio... everything
the only thing you can't do in the bios is overclock the video card. Unless you have a GeForce 9 series card...

i just want to ask, since they havent - why are you doing this? It wont make games or anything like that faster.

i noticed a diff in gaming...well when i went from 3-3-3-8 to 2.5-2-2-3 i did other than that my benchmark scores simply went up...why do you adjust your ram timings?

he has a 6200 for a video card. he wont notice a change from ram in gaming.

if your board is like mine press delete while its booting and she'll go into BIOS
i noticed a difference overall when i adjusted my RAM timings/speed, even with my old 9600pro

I'm running my ram at 2.5-3-3-5-1T at 531 MHz ( set to 233 in bios, times 2.28 (228 MHz bus speed)). Your timings are fine for DDR1, but they might go a bit tighter as well. I'm running them on 2.7 Volts.
<----- check the system specs for memory type.

file 1993 are you running a divider? if so why?

Did he say he was gaming?
About how to get into the BIOS... at least with my pc, it's press the numpad . key to get into my bios... yours may be one of the F keys... maybe F8.
If it doesn't boot, clear the CMOS and you'll be fine. You can do it by removing the motherboard battery.

Well, if I open memset, it shows : fsb/ram - 5:3.
If I select 200MHz in bios, I think it'll show 1:1 so it looks like it automatically selects it. I haven't found such an option in the bios yet. If you know how to, please tell me.
I'm a bit of a n00bie when it comes to this stuff, please don't mind me, lol!
I've tested the bandwidth at 200, 216 and 233 and 233 seems to give me the most bandwidth. But then again at 200 and at 216 there seems to be very little difference for some reason.

MemSet doesn't always work OK:

3 different progs reporting 3 different speeds (the reason the multi is 6 is because C1E is enabled).
Notice the memory clock in Everest VS MemSet (Everest is the correct one).

Shutdown your computer. Press power button. Now as soon as you here those sounds of your cpu cooler wind up, press DEL rapidly until there is a blue screen (NOT BSOD). Now theres a load of settings there. Navigate around with the arrow keys. Press enter to go into deeper selections.
EDIT: Whats up with that pic?
