Take a look at the screenshot, I've tried to tightin my timing alittle bit. But no real luck. I've tried CAS 4 no luck.

In bios i've got crap load of options and tweak that i can do. I can adjust the CAS between 3-6. I can adjust NB, SB & DDR2 voltages. But if you got any advice, please let me know. I know the ram i've got is mid. overclockable. ~1000mhz I've been able to hit 900mhz pretty easy.

:D Thanks :D

Is it the Adata in your profile? What voltage is it at now? Also what size sticks to get 6gb?

CrackerJack

Yes it's ADATA, 2x2gb & 2x1gb sorry :p

Can you try 2x1gb or 2x2gb separately to see if you can get higher with one set than the other?

Looking on newegg it says the stock timings for both sets are 5-5-5-18 and stock voltage is 1.8v, so I would try loosening the timings to 6-6-6-18 (just to check) and/or bump the voltage to 2.1v. Don't be afraid of upping the voltage, you can crank it if you throw a fan on them ;)

yeah i've got good air on them, i'm sorry i mean't tell you that there where 1.8.
I've done 6-6-6-15 1.8 before with all 6gb. Would 6-6-6-15 or18 be better than 5-5-5-15?

It'll be a marginal difference at best, the best way to tell is run a long benchmark like SuperPI 32m :)

So, I am assuming CJ, you have 1,8v going through them right now? Try dropping your cpu multi to 15x, ht to 4x, that should then bring your ram divider to cpu/7. Then up your bus speed to 213. That should be able to bring your cpu back to 3.2ghz and have ~900mhz ram with the same timings, but you may have to up your ram voltage. Also since 6-6-6-18 is barely a marginal difference, you may not have to up your ram voltage.

Jr, ha ha i forgot all about thanks i'll try that. but yeah i've got 1.8 though the ram. so should i go back to 5-5-5-15?

little better :toast: div still 8 though

WTF CJ? Dude, screenshot memset for me. I thought the ram divider changes when you change the multiplier.....

yeah i know man, i couldn't figure it out either. But i've found some extra tweaks. I did superpi in ~28.5. 2 sec knock off.

So just the drop of the multi and upping the fsb helped then. Congrats! See how far you can go with fsb on 14x multi.

i'm benchmarking right now with 3dmark. give me a min. and i'll give you a screen shot.

you could try 4-4-4-12-12-2T @2.2v 400mhz

you could try 4-4-4-12-12-2T @2.2v 400mhz

i'll try that too. the last time i tried it was 4-4-4-12 22 @2.0v

here you go JR

CDAWALL: I just tried it. :toast: It booted up and now loading in to windows. But restart at windows start up. I had it at 2.1v, So i went back and change it. But the highest i can go is 2.175. But then i got into windows, but crash within the first min.

that might be to tight for you if it is try 4-4-4-12-18

how about the volts though?

edit- never mind i got it. he he sweet!!! I just hope my ram won't get fried ;)

wat volts did you use? 2.2v?

2.175v, the highest i can go. could i go lower.

That doesnt seem right to me CJ. Is that 06 score in crossfire or single card?

crossfire. I add it because of the CPU score went up 220 points

maybe 2.15v but i doubt much lower try raising your NB volts oyou might be able to get tighter timings that way

k, i've got 1.3v. guess i'll try 1.4v

1.4-no good
1.5- trying now

but i've had to take the timings to 4-4-4-15 25

Ok that seems to work now:
4-4-4-15 25
DDR2 2.175v
NB 1.5v
15x200

Now trying:
4-4-4-12 18
DDR2 2.175v
NB 1.5v
15x200
^ This works, SuperPi: 29.9sec. I'm going try Fear benchmark.

The reason it kept crashing was because it was at x16. dang it lol And it crash when i rasie the FSB. so that suck too. Butt now my mem is at 375mhz. It's always done that, when i got below 3.2Ghz (x16)

yeah i know i just edited the post, sorry i meant to put it in there. I might just go down to 14x?(220)But that will only be 385mhz. I don't care about have 3.2Ghz. I just want stable lol

14x220-no go :banghead:
I'm goin test with what i've got in 3dmark06. That's what really matters to me :D. Damn I can't wait to get that phemon. :p

try 4-5-4-13-18-2T 2.175v

timings good, but I still can't get any higher on the cpu.

it should let you do 3.2ghz it the ram was being the issue

yeah i think it will, i just got 15x210. But 15x215 crash.

what the hell is:

Memclock Tri-Stating= Enable/Disable
Bank Swizzle Mode=Enabled/Disable

they where enabled
