higher temps with unlocked pipelines

yet another x850pro unlocking question:

if i unlock the pipelines on this card, will the temperatures go up? right now under load with a vf700al-cu, my gpu reaches 55C, which seems high. if i unlock the extra 4 pipelines, will the temperatures go up even more?

55c is in no way a high temp for a vga card ;) yes they probibly will go up a little :)

i had the x850xtpe bios on mine and it ran about 20 degrees hotter. iswitched back to the pro bios and the temps were lower even after i overclocked it to 540/580. just make sure to use the modified flash to unlock pipes. and ati flash to flash back to pro bios. modified flash will relock the pipes if you use it to reflash pro bios back in
