Smart Guardian is it and its a good one to boot, especially since most others dont work well!

Yea its working really well for me. Its simple too, I like that! But it reads differently than Realtemp!! Which do I trust!

I usually use core/real temp. The DFI reading is not in the CPU, but under it somewhere. Also a 2*C difference says yours may be closer than mine!

You mean you want it to run at full duty cycle? If yes then you could change this in the BIOS. This can be done by disabling Smart Fan Control/Speed. If you want partial fan rpm then you would need to buy a fan controller. I'm sure someone else here can help you. :D

God.. at 3.2ghz it goes from 71c (DFI) 62c(Realtemp) load to 29c-31c(both) idle.. Something wrong with my chip?

still on a stock cooler...Id believe 60ish if so. Also is this the first reading you have done?
Maybe a reseat and re app. of the TIM is in order!

I need a xiggy soon.. think the temps on 3.2ghz would be reasonable with one?
