Hey everyone I have been researching Opty overclocks and think my rig might have a better OC than what I've been getting. Please note following trial and error report and sys specs for any collective thougts.

Opty 180 2.4GHz w/1.4V core
MSI 7125 Neo n4 Nforce 4
Ram~ 1 Gig A-Data 3-3-3-8 1T @ 166 and 200 mhz w/2.65V

Max overclock in Bios is 208 FSB 4x HTT 12Xmulti and 166 Dram

I used Clockgen to push to 2.77 GHz but I really was hoping for a larger oc within the Bios.
Any thought would be greatly appreciated.

My opty180 that i recently purchased of the egg only hits 2.83 on 1.425v.. 12x 236.. Thats the limit for a majority of them.. There are a few diamonds in the ruff though..

Last time I tried to OC my Opty180 I think throught the bios all I could achieve was 210 FSB

The reason I have some questions is because I can oc further with Clockgen than within the Bios, I hear "User Error" screaming, but cant find where the hell it's at! I've tried different memory timings, dropped dram to 133, dropped htt to 3x and just about everything all the other overclocker web sites say to do but I'm at a loss for why my Bios is not allowing me to push past 208FSB!
