CLICK ON THE PICS WHICH MIGHT BE DISTORTED - THAT WILL MAKE THEM NORMAL AGAIN!

Installed 2x cold-cathode lamps (one blue and on red) the blue one is in a plexi tube to protect it and did a lot of cable management with this cable management friendly case (Antec P182).
I installed an OCZ ram cooler with blue lights too..
Also i bought a 6 lamp disco light which i put on one of my front speakers to round the look up - which can be seen in action in youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u784M6rpONs

Hope you enjoy it!

Reverse airflow...nice idea with the Reapers blocking the CPU fan install.
Clean, simple , and tidy....great work!

Edit: its too new...will be back later to vote!

Reverse air flow? Did he change the polarity of the fan or is it blowing towards the RAM?

If not, the polarity of the CPU fan could be changed, so it pulls hot air off the fins.

I had a DFI Blood-Iron before which i had to RMA and I decided to get the DFI Lanparty Dark one instead because it has UV reactiv slots and parts, Cmos Reloaded (Bios profiles) and all solid capacitors as well as an better layout of all connectors - from the performence side both are the same since the Dark is only better in above mentioned things.. I havent maxed out my oc for now but will update my system specs later on..

Which LCD gives me 150Hz refresh rate? If i could marry my CRT i would do it LOL

I dont care much about the airflow because my case is open all the time.. but the CPU cooler cools the ram too which i like very much.. PS I changed the fan direction of the case fan which is on the same height as the CPU cooler so it pushed air towards the CPU cooler.

If you reverse the fan, even then it could cool the RAM, perhaps even better, because then the fan will begin to draw air from the fins, and the fins themselves draw air from surrounding areas including the RAM, and the air surrounding the RAM is relatively cooler than if you blow air preheated by the CPU to it.

150Hz refresh rate @ 1024x768, first of all Native (Recommended) Resolution 1600x1200 on your monitor, whats your refresh rate at the Native (Recommended) Resolution of 1600x1200, second of all theres no DVI, I'm sure your video card has dual DVI"s. so now you lose clarity with an adapter. Don't get me wrong I think it was a nice aperture grille crt for it's time but it has nothing on a Samsung 22" 226BW LCD,, I know this because My old IIyama 22'' vision master Pro 510, I payed $1000 for back then, that was set at 100Hz refresh rate @ 1600x1200. Has nothing on My Samsung 22" 226BW.

Agreed 100%. My Dell 2407WFP completely pwned my 21" Viewsonic Professional Series monitor in every way. I would never look back.

OP, Nice comp btw I really like those new DFI boards.

Maybe u could paint the inside of the case & monitor Black. If not,, my rating of 8 stays. New pictures & a disco light wont do it,, Other then all that, it's still a clean build with no mods.

Laurijan, the system is quite nice, need to get your sig updated, but the system is what counts! It's just a start of what you can possibly be able to do. 8 is what I gave ya, and glad to see it working for ya.

Superb setup, 9/10

Anyway one thing I must comment on, your CPU cooler. Grab something like a Xigmatek HDT S1283, and a proper cooling solution for the RAM; if it runs that hot. You'll get better results than what you are getting with your Freezer PRO 7. The FP7 is actually longer than the Xiggy; the xiggy will fit properly without needing to resort to reverse airflow.

I forgot to mention that i changed the fan direction already in the early days of this rig..

Thanks for posting in my humble gallery (not only tkpenalty).. I will save up some cash to make the proper investments.. maybe go even water.. i am happy that you try to max out my rig so that it gets more stunning..
