RAM - 4 * 2GIG STICKS OF CORSAIR LOW LATENCY RAM RUNNING AT 1066 (XMS2) STUFF
VIDEO CARD - EITHER 2 HD4870's IN XFIRE OR WAIT TILL HD4870X2 COMES OUT. :rockout:

Yeah, also I doubt it would be hungry enough to even remotely come close to 1kW psu. Ive heard of too much is a good thing but IMO that's overkill.

with an oc on everything it will come close to it esp. as the capacitors age on the PSU

lol, damn it, i new i was forgetting something, i feel like a tool now, well i guess im not really sure on HD yet, maybe a WD raptor 150gb 10 000k rpm, get a couple in put em in RAID configuration. hmmm so you think the PSU is too much hey, i just want to be future proof thats all!

with a quality PSU you dont have to worry about that ;)

i was also thinking of just upgrading my computer i got now, a couple of upgrades, i want to get better quality ram, maybe 4gigs will do (PC6400) or maybe go nuts and get 8gigs (PC6400), upgrade to Vista Ultimate 64bit, video card will likely be an HD4870, i want that card bad but still not sure if my MB will like it, new PSU, an 750W or 850W quality PSU will do some good,, there the important upgrades i will get first, and later down the track buy new speakers, logitech 5.1 Z-2300 THX maybe, better keyboard and mouse, and a decent soundcard. oh yeah and moniter, seems like im pretty much buying a friggin new computer anyways, ah well.

hhahahaha thanx black panther, if i were rich i probably would buy you one, but sorry mate, no can do. the cooling im still lookin at, still thinking getting water cooling or just a really good heatsink, maybe the Zalman CNPS9500 AM2 heatsink, still unsure for now, and optical drive, lol of course Blu-ray how could i forget that maybe Pioneer brand, should be fun doin this, cant wait. thats an interesting external HD, when i first looked at it, thought it was a golden book, looks expensive too but it only saids 114pounds or Euro's, i suck at money conversion lol.

yeah true, are the HD4850's coming at the same time the HD4870's are coming out or sooner, me wants alot of power but AMD all the way.
took a look at that heatsink, looks awesome, seen it before too, cheap aswell, might think about it.
ok then, screw the raptor HD then, hmmmm i guess maybe just a normal WD 320GB 7200rpm 32MB and down the line i can think about the SSD's, too expensive now!
