I have a Laser HL-1440 Printer installed. Theirs something wrong with it. Everytime I print something it prints the wrong amount of papers, thus is wasting paper,my money and don't forget trees for the environment. I've check the number of copies is set to one but still didn't work. Reinstalled drivers didn't work. Any help here? :banghead:

Try finding where the printer stores setting profiles and delete them.

Perhaps look around where the printer's folder are in program files.

I'm not sure if this is it. I don't want to mess things up.

Looks like they not there. I am not sure, could be in documents and settings or common files, etc.

You should be able to reset the settings via control panel, under printers.

Thx but not in documents and settings or common files either. Unfortunately there is no reset-like button for printers in control panel.

I wasnt trying to be mean...when I looked at the drivers they are newest as of may of 02...may be why there is an issue.

I noticed you're running Vista x64. This link (http://solutions.brother.com/hl1400/download/drivers.html#winx64)has the latest drivers for your printer, but it doesn't list vista 64. Maybe try Xp 64 drivers. What have you got to lose?
