Half life engine

I heard that steam's half life engine is now free. Does anyone know where i can get this, i wanna make a game based off it.

I don't know about that, but the SDK is available, so you can makes mods...not stand alone games.

Try using the quake 3 engine, still pretty good. It is what the source engine was based on.
