that's cool. i wonder how hard it is to cancel after 12 months. sometimes those deals are a pain to get out of.

Not always. They usually are pretty good about it.

Usually the last copy will contain renewal form. If you don't want to renew, don't send the form. If they send you a bill to continue, don't pay the bill. Simple as that.


Why the heck do they require company info for a gaming magazine?

That site is a major publication of technical / occupational magazines, so I am guess that just want to know which companies you work for statistic purposes. But the site is legit, I have many technical mags coming from them. If you don't work for any company, just put the name of your school, or say personal.

looks like they screen the applicants... you have to be some sort of a tech proffesional to get the subscription?

Yeah, your right there. Thats the normal time for sub. to start up.. get the first two within a week or two of one another...

Also, the reasoning for the "who you work for" is to give their third party support ways to "TRY" and get you to support their stuff and buy it... Just BS, and you'll be all good. Just don't go crazy saying your a CEO

I signed up for this last year and it worked out ok. I got all of the magazines but I wasn't too impressed with it, I guess I didn't realize that it was only about console games and being mostly a pc gamer I was disappointed. You wouldn't hear me complain about it being free though!

I signed into this deal they had a while back, its Legit been getting my copies of EGM for 3 months now didnt have to pay a cent.
