Easily!!!! 9.5x multi with a stock 1066 fsb. Would only need an fsb of 422 @ max multiplier. For some reason I just don't think the board would be ok though.
Personally I'd go with this:

But thats just personal preference. 90% of boards I owned were abit.

My vote would be for the Wolfdale. Reading through the reviews on the links above, one guy hit 3.8ghz with "OEM Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro in conjunction with some Artic Silver 5."
3.4ghz + not unheard of with the 7200.

It COULD hit 4GHz with the correct cooling solution and voltages. It'll hit 3.4GHz easy.

I think you can get it.. And if not, then I bet it wouldn't be anything less then 3.8 with the right cooling...

well after i take care of CPU, my next step is to replace this 7950GT i was looking at either the 8800GT or 9800GTX, gonna skip the 8800GTS 512 and go for the better power if i spend around 300 anyway

That sounds like a good thing to do man. I jumped from the 8800gt 1gb to this 9800gx2... Not as big as your jump, but I think going 9800gtx is the way to go!

Don't know if you can swing another $50 bucks, but if you can check this one out (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115037). It's been hitting 3.8 on stock coolers........
If ya can't, the 7200 is still sweet! :toast:
