Yep. I have a BlackBerry Curve 8330 from Verizon. It's my first BB, but I've been quite infatuated since I got it, so I can probably help you.

i want to put music on it from my HDD on my PC, i cant seem to figure it out :o

Which BB do you have? You'll want to get a microSD card and put the music on there. When you connect your BB, you have to enable mass storage mode so your computer can access the memory card. Otherwise the BB will "lock down" the card and prevent the access.

There should be a setting regarding mass storage mode. I have mine prompt me when my BB connects to my computer. You also need to have your BB format the microSD card first.

Did you download/install the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software? I think it comes standard with Roxio's Media Manager, but you can download the DM off the website without Media Manager. You don't have to use Media Manager. Once your memory card is formatted, the media folders are really easy. Mass storage mode makes your BB show up in My Computer, and you should be able to drag-n-drop music and other files.

i've got the pearl

so i eneble mass storage when i connect it to the PC, then how do i get my files from limewire to it?

i just enabled the mass storage and it gives me options for direct photo transfer and disc copying :confused:

i didnt even have to install the BB software. all i did was plug the microSD card in to the PC and drag and drop the mp3 files on to the SD card. they worked fine right from the get go.

my friend had a black bb pearl he could upload music to it just fine through usb, but he now has a white pearl and it wont upload anything at all...when he plugs it in nothing happens...he is furious we tried it on 4 different computers and nothing...we made sure mass storage mode was on and everything...still nothing...he called tmobile about it and they keep saying its his computer witch is obviously not the case...his old one worked just fine. has anyone else had this problem?

make sure it is under the proper sub-folder.

It needs to be under blackberry/music

otherwise, the Blackberry won't see it.

How much music are you adding? You're going to the Media icon and choosing Music, correct? Choose Artists and see if they pop up.

well i'd like to add tracks from limewire but like i said it doesn't seem to be working ATM
