Mods:
Attached 80MM to VGA vent grill for extra cooling, cable management, hid wires behind the motherboard tray. Will save up for a new Zalman Cu Cooler, but my budget does not allow it at the moment.

First real build, so any advice/criticisms would be appreciated.

And I know my parts aren't the best, but then again, my budget isn't the best either. So please don't criticize what makes my rig run.

Thanks for checking out my rig :)

Simple and clean with the wires out of the way, nothing fancy you get A for effort and 6 for the rig
I would suggest cleaning up the wires in the back with either wire sleeving and zip ties... but thats just me. I m just anal about things like that. Also that orange fan tied with yellow string to the side vent looks a lil ghetto =/ and that rear fan should be pointing the other way to exhaust the hot air raising from the video card and CPU.

Yeah, besides the yellow string & looks like you lost your HDD mounts, it's clean with good enough hardware to play most newer games today,, Maybe after you fix that window fan, HDD & buy your new HSF, you can update the pictures, overall, nice job 6/10........ Have time check out my Rig http://www.techpowerup.com/gallery/1523.html Thanks.

Yea, my card ran a little hot (for my taste anyway, but it was within its specs), and screws did not work, so I was forced to improvise.

As for the direction of my fans, I accidentally put it that way during my initial build. When I went back to fix it, however, my temps actually went up, so I decided to leave my fans the way it is now. Right now, I get 20C idle, 35C load for CPU and 46C idle, 58C load for GPU.

And ghetto, I know. :)

Didn't lose my HDD mounts, but I took them out to improve airflow. My case has a front fan mount directly to the right of the HDDs, and putting all the unused mounts in there would block the airflow for me.

As for HSF, I'm pretty tight on cash right now, and probably will be for the next 6 months or so (saving up for a tablet for my girlfriend), but when I do have enough money, I'd probably get a Zalman Cu Cooler. My case is extremely quiet with the exception of my stock HSF, which bugs me really.

But yea, I admit the 80mm fan attachment was, and still is, pretty ghetto.

Thanks for the input :)

I really wasn't talking about the unused mounts,, but the ones that mount your hard drive, it looks like your not using the mounts for it,, as for the HSF you could get a good one for $20. also maybe get some zip tie mounts for the back,, there really cheap http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=80&products_id=20352
It's your pc, If you like it, thats all that matters, just trying to help. not trashing it.

yes it is, the slots are made side to side not front to back. which looks really good, the best way to hide cable.

good work man 8/10

Although, can you send me that link you were trying to give me again? The link says that the product you're trying to show me doesn't exist.

And $20 for a good cooler? Any chance you can show me that too? :) All the high performance ones reccomended to me were $70 or so, but I can do $20.
