Yer i get sick of getting ripped off compared to everywhere else, why do they think its perfectly fine to charge us double and ignore the conversion rate:(

 Great find. Wow this is a really really good deal. :respect:
Just for a few laughs, Newegg sells the stock(non-OC) version of this card for $193! LINK (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814129100)
If you try looking for something that might be cheaper with rebates(if you like waiting for weeks/months) the cheapest HD3870(GDDR4) on the egg is still 6 bucks more than this one(or $156 before rebate). LINK (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102719)
I might just pick up a couple of these for my second rig. Crossfire for 260 bucks sheesh. :rockout:

Question! Can I crossfire my 3870X2 with a 3870 with my Maximus Formula flashed to Rampage Formula? I've been looking and can't seem to find if I can do it!

Yup, Vista only though.
@ kyle2020. Don't diss ebuyer etc. lol, I know there aren't any retail stores, but places like that are the life-blood of the PC industry in this country lol.
The only good etailers I know of that have shop fronts are Scan and Aria, and they are only in and around Manchester.

I just read that Bestbuy will start carrying the HD4850 and HD4870 about 3 weeks from now. Pricing will be 199 and 299 and maybe cheaper when on sale. Both are 512MB cards, although I'm unsure if its the GDDR5 4870 :(

I would grab some for your UK guys, but the shipping would probably ruin the price :(
I think my decision was just made for me...looks like I might be picking up another 3870 this week? Then if the price gouging BestBuy is doing this I wonder how cheap everyone else (especially newegg) is gonna be soon.
Hard choice here...wait another ~2 weeks and see how the new cards do or just pick up a second 3870 in 2 days............

Less a Fifty dollar gift card I couldn't resist... last one on the shelf... CFX with three GPU isn't to bad.. crippled on a P35 :slap:
Okay so the choice was made and I now finally have two redheads sitting inside my case. :D
What really made me go out and just get it (besides my brother oweing me $50) was that the same morning I got paid a coupon from BestBuy came in the mail for 12% off with that rewards zone card.
HD3870 for $129...minus 12%...minus $50...for $64 only a fool would say no :D. And if I want I can of course still add another card to the box when the new ones come out.
:D:D:D
