Question About NewEgg/UPS Shipping

I ordered a Creative Fatal1ty Headset from newegg on Monday afternoon and I chose the standard UPS 3 Day shipping. I just checked the tracking number right now, and they said it's rescheduled for a delivery date of 6/9/08, that's next monday! A week after I ordered it! Should I complain to newegg and maybe work something out?

No, you should call ups and ask why its delivery date is so long out. Make sure they have it has 3 day select shipping, if it was imporperly shipped, then contact newegg.

Once you have the tracking number, it's all in UPS's hands. I've had them reschedule packages before, and it pissed me off. They've even forgotten my package at the facility, when it was suppose to go out for delivery. You should call and see what caused the delay, but chances are its not going to change anything.

Check when it was actually picked up by UPS from Newegg. The 3 day clock doesn't start ticking until the carrier picks it up. This has pissed me off more times than I can count because I also usually order on Mondays hoping to have my toys by the next weekend!

It your order's being flown from somewhere, there might've been a delay. In this case a pretty substantial one, but I would definitely call to figure out exactly why.

FedEx did this to me once last month. My order was flown from TN to Ohio, but the flight was delayed about three hours due to weather.

Ok, I'll call. It's just annoying because I was really hoping to have it by the weekend.
