Hey guys I'm wanting to paint the inside of my case a "Team Fortress" orange or "HL2" orange. What is the best way to go about doing this the correct way? What paint would you recommend? Modders help please! :D

Awesome read MK, thanks much :rockout:

Question though, where did you buy your paint? A local hardware store?

I go to my local auto parts store. They have the best selection.

MK I was just wondering about a color suggestion, so with that being said here is my mobo:

Based on the color of my mobo, and my case (black) and my graphics card (red), what color would you suggest?

your best bet would prolly be some form of black.

flat black/satin black/metallic black, etc.......

wheel paint sticks better and is more durable than regular paint IMO but the colour choices are more limited

i found it best to let the pieces dry for a week or two before re-assembly, or at LEAST a few days.

i also found that weather has an effect on finish/cure time

Thats a hard decision, colors that you like vary from one person to another.

On TF2 I see Orange, lite Blue,Gray and black.

I would probably paint the mobo tray gray, HDD and DVD rack black and blue UV cables and lights. (there is Gray wheel paint so ur lucky there)

if you want a decent finish... do not handle (aggresively) or fit your case with components for MINIMUM a few days after painting... a week is probably best since by then its pretty much all cured and won't be a problem

also... disassembling your case helps a whole lot with preventing overspray and making sure everything is coated evenly.

when you try to paint the small crevices in between areas of the inside of your case while its assembled... you'll probably either ending up having massive overspray or just not reaching every area. most people do have decent results when painting fully assembled, but for me its just too much of a chance.

dont try to cover it in paint too quickly do one thin layer at a time allowing each to dry take your time with it.

You can add laquer when its dry to give it a shine and add extra protection drying times vary.
