Strange colour issues.

All of a sudden my tasktop colour has turned a dark purple and when playing Crysis, the shaders aren't black, it's dark purple. When when I restart my PC, when it shows a black screen, it's more of a faded purple too. I just noticed this. The colours were fine yesterday,

Check monitor cables, if it's n ot in correctly it shows strange colors

im guessing its the monitor cable like oli said, my cable changes to add a blue or green tint depending on the angle whenever its not plugged in securely. also check your monitor temperature and the like
