ok. lets say i plug 2 asus eah3650 256mb ddr3 in to pci-x slots of a P965 so far so good.
Q1 do i have to conect both of the cf brige cables?
Q2 sofware wise, any adjustments?
i never have use cf . so i need all the help you can give.

PS: You may find a few games that do not support crossfire as well as you would like. I suggest setting up profiles for those games that disable crossfire on the fly.

If you connect both cables it will just allow a higher res to be played. I beleive anything above 19xx x 10xx.
Profiles right here:

Make sure you backup your current settings:

Then you can go back and disable CrossfireX. Save it as a profile called "Cfire Disabled". :)
If you do it correctly you can right click the ATi tray icon and be prompted with this:

here one screen everything seems ok. i have same gain in 3d06 +2.000 marks:rockout: on stock speeds.
but is seems to be a problem. i don't know.... i first 3650 the bus interface is x16 on pci-x in second 3650 is x2. is that normal?

i just read from asus website
2 x PCI-E x16 (blue @ x16 mode, black @ x2 or x4 mode) supports CrossFire Technology.
thus is normal.

with E2160@2.4Ghz, ram teamgroup 2x1 gb 800mhz ddr2, 2x3650 and vista ultimate x86 = 6700+
that is my girlfriend's pc.

Strange. My old pair of 2600's got me almost 7k. Well, I guess thats not too much difference.

3650s are not quite as powerful as 2600s Jr
