Very nice build for the dough! If he decides to upgrade his business you could be looking at some bucks! :toast:

BTW did you try OC on that ECS? I bought the 8200 version and I like it. OCs nicely both RAM and CPU.

I don't like installing windows on slow machines.

No machine leaves this shop without 2 gigs of ram.

Just ordered it today:)

Let us know how that board does.

The 8200 board if I install the latest bios from ECS, they removed the CPU voltage options. But one version back it had all the voltage options upto 1.55V.

So if you are going to update the bios, just back up the bios that comes with the board.

Also setting up a voltage in bios say 1.3V will drop down to 1.085V. Kind of finicky bios. So let me if yours does the same thing.

Never the less I got 2.6 at default voltage. So happy.

my 2 cents.

I just wonder what rationalization you used to say that you needed to put a quad core processor in that system.

Why not?

I don't like to use anything than quads anymore. They have heard it on TV or from someone and that's what they really want. When you tell them that their PC will more or less have 4 CPUs in it they love it.

Plus the machine will last longer.

It even has speakers in the monitor.:pimp:Less cables

I hope the PSU in this case is better. I have been buying the cheap cases, but on this build I wanted a little better PSU. I'm hoping it's the lower in PSUs that they sell.

I just updated a machine, a $599 HP.

Onboard Video
512Mb of RAM
120Gb Sata drive
Dead CD-Rom (not even a burner)
14" LCD

I got him a 22" Samsung with integrated USB, 2Gb of RAM, HD3450 256Mb Video card and cleaned up his system.

That was the difference between a slow piece of crap and a useable machine. His hard drive and processor are still slowing him down, and he now wants "a new microcpu" to make it faster still. He has the money and has learned, his next PC will be built by me.

DaMulta built a kickass machine for cheap, and is going to get a customer for life, and they tend to spend more than a one time customer. So providing the best experiance is in his best interest.

Ya what you can get for cheap is getting pretty good these days....

A few years ago I bought a x1300pro brand new for gaming, and that was like $100, today a $60 card will toast it silly sideways and a $120 card will smoke a 2 year old $300 card.
