Ok i got my system cpu up to about 4 ghz (I heard you can clock the Pentium D 820 at over 4ghz). Then I stress tested it and it seemed to be working. Then I hit "Write" and my computer blacked out and seemed to go into a standby mode. When I turned it off and on it was still in this mode. THen I unplugged it for a while and now it's working again. How can I safely overclock the cpu?
Here is my system:
Dell XPS 600
Pentium D 820 2.8ghz
2 gig ram
Asus Geforce 7800 GTX (x2) SLI
nForce 4 Intel
