Hi there,

as its my first post, a cheering hello to the TPU communitY :toast:

I recently bought a Sapphire HD 3450 with 256 MB of DDR2-SDRam and got slightly disappointed, when looking to GPU-Z and the AMD CCC. Powerplay seems to be disabled even though Sapphire advertizes that as a feature :mad:

So now I'm looking for a BIOS with PowerPlay to enable it.

P.S. dump (http://rapidshare.com/files/121620347/RV620.bin.html) from my Sapphire Card

Try RivaTuner, it display clocks in realtime. GPU-Z doesn't.

for everybody who raised the same question, here the reply of the sapphire support:

"Dear Mr.X,

this feature is not to be enabled or disabled. While at normal desktop operation it clocks with the 2D rates and when using it within 3D applications, it switches to the powerplay mode."

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

That sounds like absolute b*llsh*t to me, doesn't it?
