View Full Version : Computex 2008: Cool IT Systems Single Bay MTEC Cooler

Cool IT Systems also has a booth at the Hyatt and is showing off their new single slot cooler for graphic cards. It uses just a single 5.25 inch drive bay and can cool either a single graphic card or a CPU. The general layout and built is identical to the two-bay variant. Cool IT also has coolers for the new GPUs from AMD and NVIDIA ready to roll, as soon as the cards hit the market. These are just being fine tuned, so we are not yet able to show you pictures of the MTEC and heatsink. Expect to see them in combination with the drive bay units in the near future.

not a bad idea.
im sure it would keep the new cards nice and cool.
but they are probably going to be asking outrageous prices like they usually do.

Kind of sucks, Id like to see what the MTEC looked like. And if it is priced right. Id go that for cooling my eventual purchase on an AMD Phenom 9850.

I will get you the actual retail pricing ASAP. Will take a day or two, but be on the lookout in this thread. Odds are under 100 USD for one of these.

In the 3rd picture, the single bay option has been installed upside down. LOL.

I own 2 of their TEC units, not a drop of water.

How do you figure? Just 'cause their logo is on the other side, doesn't make it up-side-down.
