I'm selling my e8400 to help pay for a Q9450. It's a nice chip from a good batch. It's currently clocked at 3.9ghz, and stays nice and cool. I haven't really pushed the chip due to air cooling and summer heat. I'll let it go for $160 OBO. I will ship International, for an additional shipping fee. SOLD

Agreed, If you sell it on ebay for 175, after fees, you get less than 165, id personally be willing to sell something to a forum member even if it means less cash, just just give it some time.

But screwed up chips on ebay is very possible. ESD is a ticking timebomb sometimes. Its rare, but when it strikes your system, it will be crippled. ;)

lol yeah sorry, used to the AMD side of things hehe, I keep forgetting that the pins are on the motherboard for LGA 775 :D, I've had lots of problems with bending pins when removing AMD CPU's, because the heatsink fuses to the CPU and causes it to twist in the socket 0_0, all works out in the end though I guess :o

they did, socket F. am3 is due out soonish, and has backwards compatibility, so there not planning it anytime relatively soon for the mainstream market.

This chip under good cooling should easily push 4GHz considering I had a E7200 that w/ 1.5v was stable enough to do some 3dmark runs at over 4GHz on air. Bump for a nice guy too.
