this is why i'm glad i have a cage in front of my intake fan. I'd probably have my finger chopped in half if i had the controller turned up all the way! :ohwell:

Wow, I never bled from putting my finger in my cpu fan. I never tried actually and I seriously doubt that a 9500 zalman fan would make a finger bleed. :ohwell: The emo in me tells me to try but then I don't want to risk ruining the fan!
I've cut my fingers and had them bleed numerous times though due to sliding them on the ram pcb while trying to get a ram module fit properly. Unintentionally obviously.

You call that gore? :wtf:
I've drawn more blood doing home surgery on myself trying to remove splinters with my pocket knife.
Lightweight.

LOL ... I got a splinter from pulling out Sumak trees on my property.
I dug into my thumb with my pocket knife until I saw the white color of a splinter.
I grabbed it with a tweezers and pulled.
My thumb curled forward. I had actually grabbed a tendon and yanked on it.
It healed ;)

I've taken a chunk out of my finger from a Thermaltake Street Fighter, an Arctic Cooling AF12L, as well as some nasty ass cuts from a Zalman CNPS9700 and just the other day from my Scythe Orochi.

Yeah, it was a rather odd feeling. I did put my knife away and stop :D
But then I've set my own brokem bones and stuff so it was not a panic thing or anything.
The older you get, the more you experience (and hopefully learn).

Heh, similar thing happened to me. A drill bit snapped while I was drilling out a rivet and the 0.5cm left in the drill plunged right into the other side of my index finger knuckle. I spend the rest of the day with tweezers, a magnet and a needle picking at it trying to get the shards of metal out. Couldn't use that damn finger at all for a few days, luckily I heal fast so now there's barely even a scar there.

DOH! i bet that made you jump lol... never been cut by a fan but about a week ago i nearly put my fingers in the 92mm Rexus fan but i realized the gushing air from it just in time.. I hate to think what one of those Rexus fans would do too a finger as i felt the blades and DAM there real sharp.
