Not too far off from the gtx though, should get better w/ drivers. Looks quite nice for the $200 price point is supposed to have.

I'm mostly interested in that extreme score. My, currently-brother-owned, 9800gtx can only do X2300 with my QX9650 @ 4GHz. But it does the same with my Q6600 @ 4GHz so go figure. I guess vantage don't like the extra cache :(

Yup, should be the direct competition for the 4850 for now. I think the 4850 has the potential to overtake it though, and their cf potential is probably greater. I'm not sure why everyone seemed to be convinced that ati was going to blow nvidia out of the water, but this seems to be proof of the contrary. Should be a good step for ati though, just nothing revolutionary.

This is only the 4850, the 4870 and both x2 cards still need to be reviewed yet. We'll see what's to come.

Look further down the page. Visiontek is listing the card as 800SPs.
