GTX 280 -Too much for my budget of $250... keeping my good ol' 3850 for a bit longer than I thought.

Sorry for the extra post. =P
Lol. He win the lottery? Well, in case 4870s perform well enough, at least they come out within the time of refund.

I'm an ATI fanboy so I'm gonna see what the benchmark results are on the 4870 X2. If it's a good jump from my 3870 X2, I'll get 2 in crossfire.

So am I. I do like to look at things from both ends, though. Makes me feel more important for some reason. XD!!

Nah, he sold a crap load of stuff, and he had to borrow money from everyone in his family.

But I have to say, my mind is changing about going towards ATI cards.

It should. IMHO, only someone with major mental issues would buy the more expensive card if it didn't present twice the power... Actually... the 4870 supposedly is faster than the 9800gx2. Maybe this is true? It'd be nice to have ATI take back the crown after a couple years, and have more performance for half the price. Probably gonna be a close match here, and I bet we'll see 4950/4970s and GTX 290s or the equivalent!
