While Gartner now believes sales will increse by 12.5 percent, up from their March prediction of 10.9 percent. Good News article Polaris.. I believe the fact with Laptops growing more then Desktops because of more and more jobs requiring computers for all their traveling employees. In our hospital we have two different types.. The normal Desktop that every center has. Then each nurse has a portable Laptop station that they can roll around to use. But, for some reason, the kitchen has 6 of them... So, I use it for ordering! lol

Of course PC sales will go up...People can't afford to go anywhere with the price of fuel these days..:(..Gotta have something to do if they are going to be remaining at home alot more, and fiddling around with a PC is far more entertaing than just watching tv....;)
