performance difference 260 gt/4870 upgrade from 8800gts 640 worthwhile for the cash??

do u think paying say min £250 minus £85 (offered gts) will be worth it for the performance increase for the 260 gt or 4870??

I've seen no benchmarks for the GTX260 or 4870, but I think they would be nearlly twice as fast as your 8800GTS 640MB. If you current setup can keep up with whatever games you're playing then I would suggest you keep it for a while longer. The longer you hold out, the cheaper the next gen cards will be as I think there will be a quite fun price war between green + red.
