Aloha every one....

My first post here...so go easy on me..:D

I was wondering if any one on these forums has first hand experience with this PSU?

techPowerUp reviewed it...and gave it a very good score....but I can't find any other reviews of it on the net.....

Thanks..

Personally, they are over priced. You can get PC&C, Corsair, and high end FSP which are cheaper than it.

I have a Odin Pro 800, which is the same as the GT, just without the software and all those sensors. I almost have a week of experience with it, and I haven't found anything wrong, it is modular, cables aren't over sized (length wise - some may find em too short, cos they might not be able to route em behind the mobo tray). For "LED" fans, you have some blue LED's on it which, if you do not like em, can be turned off by a tick of switch. There's everything you need to know in the review. In the specs department, it has 4 12V rail, first two have 18A, and the second two have 25A each, giving a combined amperage of 62A. If you like a single rail Psu, go for Corsair, or some other good make that ktr stated. (they also have psu with rails like the odin)

Personally, I haven't found anything wrong with it, and judging by the review it scores well too.

BTW, welcome to TPU! :)

Thanks for the info....

It seems Gigabyte does not market the Odins or their PSUs in the USA..

Personally, I've had it for now for about a week, and its working very well so far...

Just a thought though....every now and then....like every half an hour...I hear a loud sound from the PSU...

Could that be dips or surges in the electric current? Would it be safer to use a UPS? I have never used one before...

Thanks again...
